The list builder
How much does a family really use?
Every household is different, but after years of looking at how Pakistani homes shop, a few patterns hold. Atta is the anchor: daily roti means roughly 5 kg per person per month. Milk is the item people most often underestimate, especially with children and three rounds of chai a day. And oil quietly goes faster in winter, when parathas and pakoras come back.
Plan the heavy staples once a month and keep milk, bread, eggs and sabzi for small weekly orders. You pay fewer delivery fees and nothing goes stale.
Ordering it in one go
We have put the brands most Pakistani kitchens use next to each item (Olper's or Nurpur for milk, Dalda or Meezan for oil, Tapal for chai, Shan for masala, Coca-Cola and Lay's for guests). Swap in your own; the list goes to the store with your order.
Send the finished list on WhatsApp and Foran's team places the order with a nearby store, or paste it into the app yourself. Because every Foran order comes from one store, your whole ration arrives together.
Ration planning tips
- Check the cupboard before ticking. Half the waste in a monthly list is duplicate masalay.
- Buy oil and atta in the sizes you store well. Big packs are cheaper only if they stay fresh.
- Add a Ramzan or guests buffer of 10 to 20% in months you know will be busy.
